Q: How can I learn more about the Association?
A: While this website has most of the information you should need, those wanting to know more about the interworkings of the Association are encouraged to engage with your local community representative.
Q: Where can I Volunteer?
A: We are always looking for help with our expansive District. Referees Clinics, Coaching Clinics, Scheduling, and our Soccerfest Wind Up are always crucial areas needing the most amount of volunteers. Depending on your field, you can contact nwcd11@gmail.com for further information or suggestions.
Q: What is Northwest Centrals League all about?
A: Our Travel Teams are from the U13 age group and older. It is often considered the "more competitive" side. Teams are formed from within a community, which represent their town. These teams play within our District League. These teams play two games on Saturdays, as well as Tournaments. An example of teams in our District are Jasper, Hinton, Edson, Whitecourt, Drayton Valley, and Stony Plain. At the end of the season, the teams vie to represent Northwest Central (District 11) at Provincials.
Q: What is NWC’s Functions and Objectives?
Represent the District at Alberta Soccer Association meetings.
Administer the collection of fees to be paid to ASA.
Organize and promote Tier IV and Tier III “traveling league” between the member communities in the outdoor season.
Organize and promote a Tier II program for the higher level players in the district.
Declare teams and pay fees for Provincial Competitions at the Tier IV, Tier III, and Tier II levels.
Provide technical expertise and assistance to member communities through ASA Technical Resources
Q: Who is on the Northwest Central Board?
A: The NWC Board consists of the President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Registrar, and League Scheduler
Q: Does NWC offer Adult Programs?
A: NWC is strictly youth soccer at this time.
